I left my tumblr a ling time ago. Mainly because I sropped making videos at a level that actually excited me post grad school. But maybe I can find a new purpose for prefect pictures. Since I hardly sit at my computer when I am not at work, and when I do I try to watch as much adventure time, house, or bobs burgers that I can fit in a work day, this doesn’t leave much time for making videos or blogging them.
But I have a new passion. Playing with my cell phone and figuring out as much about the future direction of cell phones. So maybe I will just start blogging about using my Nokia Lumia 900, which I happen to enjoy using to take pictures and videos. So lets try this out, even without a free (official) tumblr app. The mobile site works just fine on mobile ie9.
So I now kind of work too much and dont have the technology (editing software) to make videos often (if ever). So i find time where I can do both easily.
The Winn Wedding Video will be coming out shortly hopefully in the next few weeks. Get Excited!!!
(update) this video never got finished. emberassing i know but i was unable to secure funds to buy the program. not to say it will never be finished…

My Eternal Sunshine video just got added on there. I’m considering it an honor. Should for sure check out what else is on there from the ICT.
Here is a short film, which is a music video for Jay Electronica’s “Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge)” For my Comm 609 Interactive Media Class at Wichita State University. The video stars my brother Josh as he goes through a day in his life. But not really, the story is driven by the song but created by me, who also directed. The audio is 100% the song nothing added. Even the movie clips are part of the song, so I found the clips and made them part of the film. It actually helps drive the story a lot. I should add that this is 1 song, just four different parts to it.
The song I’m using for my final project “Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge)” [listen to it a few posts down] has several curse words in it that may be offensive to some people in my audience. And when I say some I mean a good handful, but not a ridiculous amount. I have been battling myself whether or not to edit all of those words or leave it how it is. I have been big to this point about keeping the integrity of the audio and not editing or overlapping any of it out, or with different audio. The audio is intact completely.
Personally I think it is a great song, and is one that i’ve grown to appreciate more so now that I’m doing this project. So I should leave it as it. But I understand the context of the individual who made the song and the music, so I am not offended. Where as others may find the language a quick reason to not watch the entire 9 min video.
Hmm….. What to do? What to do?
My brother wanted to know how the video was coming along cuz I make it sound like the video will be sad (update: now i think it’s acutally kinda cool). So i did this real quick so he could see how it’s coming together a bit.
Please note, that i only make a fool of myself on my own blog, and 2nd i’m making reference to my little brother when i said “my keys died josh” its just jokes people.
